As a Teen Leadership Program Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of tech enthusiasts, digital artists, programmers, and engineers through our dynamic teen leadership development program.

Collaborating closely with teenage campers, you'll guide them in acquiring vital life and leadership skills, contributing to camp initiatives, and serving as inspirational role models to younger peers.

Responsibilities :

  • Use Emagination's comprehensive curriculum, including workshops, activities, and projects tailored to the needs and interests of teenagers, to provide teenagers with opportunities to learn and practice leadership skills.
  • Lead interactive workshops on topics such as communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, goal setting, time management, and decision-making.
  • Assign leadership roles and responsibilities to teen participants, ensuring each individual has opportunities for growth and development.
  • Offer guidance, support, and mentorship to teen leaders, assisting them in overcoming challenges and maximizing their potential.
  • Plan and coordinate leadership activities, including team-building exercises, camp projects, and leadership simulations.
  • Monitor the progress of teen leaders, provide feedback on their performance, and track their development over time.
  • Work collaboratively with other camp staff members to integrate leadership development initiatives into the overall camp program.
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of teen participants, implementing appropriate safety protocols and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Serve as a role model for teen leaders, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of leadership.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the leadership development program through participant feedback, evaluations, and outcomes analysis, making adjustments as needed for continuous improvement.
  • Additional responsibilities assigned as required

Requirements :

  • Available to reside on campus for a period of 5 weeks of employment
  • Must be at least 18 years old by June 1
  • Attend staff training week and complete all online pre-camp training
  • Successfully pass applicable background screenings and provide verifiable references
